Jacqueline and Pete’s wedding part 2: The Wedding Reception
A Celebration of Love: Jacqueline & Pete’s Unforgettable Wedding
As guests arrived at the beautiful Prince Regent Hotel, they were welcomed into the lush grounds, where Crystal Professional Catering served delicious canapés and glasses of crisp Prosecco. While the adults enjoyed the smooth sounds of saxophonist Neostratz, the children played, and the warm, pleasant weather added to the relaxed, joyful atmosphere of the wedding reception.

After a few quiet moments together, Jacqueline and Pete joined their guests for a series of family and couple photos, beautifully captured by CJ Dreamz Photography. The photos reflected the love and happiness of the day, setting the tone for what was to come.

Following the serene drinks reception, it was time for the grand reveal of the stunning wedding breakfast setup, a breathtaking space transformed by Perfect Event 4 U. Guests were in awe of the elegant decor, with towering blossom tree centerpieces, soft tealights, and mood-setting colored lighting. The delicate apple blossom-themed stationery, from name cards to coordinated menus, designed by Tomarty Stationery, and the personalised cookie favour from Gardners Cookies added the perfect finishing touch.

The couple made their grand entrance with a burst of energy, dancing into the room to the Afrobeat tune “Roju” by Chike. The atmosphere was electric as Jacqueline and Pete danced their way to the head table, pausing for a playful moment on the dancefloor that had everyone cheering.

At the head table, the couple was seated on a beautifully decorated stage, joined by close family members, including the mother of the bride and the best man. The meal, a delicious West Indian buffet, included mouthwatering dishes like Curry Goat, Jerk Salmon, and Plantain. Guests selected from the plentiful options, with the head table receiving special service.

The flavors of the meal were a true hit, setting the perfect foundation for what came next.
The speeches that followed were heartfelt and filled with love, as friends and family shared their joy and support for the newlyweds. One particularly touching moment was a surprise video compilation from loved ones who couldn’t attend, bringing a sense of togetherness to the room. To top it off, the groom delighted everyone with a few heartfelt verses of song, adding a personal and emotional touch to the occasion.

Next came the cutting of the cake—a stunning three-tier creation by My Vintage Cakes, decorated to perfection with a blend of sugar and silk flowers that beautifully matched the wedding theme.

With the evening now in full swing, MC JayBee built excitement for the bouquet toss. The bride added a playful twist by teasing the crowd with a fake throw, before sending the bouquet sailing directly into the eager hands of one lucky bridesmaid—perhaps a bride-to-be in the making!

Then, the moment everyone had been waiting for: the first dance. Jacqueline and Pete took to the floor, holding hands as they swayed to “Why I Love You” by Major, a song filled with personal memories for the couple. It was a touching, intimate moment that drew everyone in. As the song ended, the guests eagerly joined the newlyweds on the dance floor, ready to celebrate the night away.

With love, laughter, and endless vibes, the evening continued into the night. It was a perfect day for an incredible couple, a celebration of love that everyone will remember for years to come.
